I pay too much in interest

I have repaid $2,000 of my $18,000 debt and I have paid $500 in interest. Is that atrocious??!!

    It is much better to COLLECT interest than to PAY it. Good luck on getting rid of your debt and becoming an interest collector. I just checked my money market account and I collected $60.23 in July. Sure beats paying interest.
